How To Talk About Pricing

It can feel overwhelming talking about pricing. For years I “made up” pricing. Can you relate? If your name was Debbie… you got $100 off. Are you my friends dog walker? $200 off! I was pricing based on discomfort. You know it is so interesting, in our industry when we dream of become hairstylists we dream of being behind the chair, creating incredible looks, making our clients feel like they are on cloud 9… but never, ever, ever do we dream about the hard stuff. In fact, we don’t even think about talking about pricing when we are in beauty school… because we don’t even know that will be a point of contention for us. Plain and simple… we had NO IDEA WHAT WE WERE GETTING OURSELVES INTO.
